Developing the Idea

My plan is to record the life of an actor staring in a fictitious film. The actor will use Bose headphones to listen to certain music to get them in the mood for each scene.

They will explain how they use the music, what kind of music they listen to, why they listen to it and how effective it is.

·      It shall be called ‘Music is My_Character’

The short promo will see the actor getting their script and rehearsing their lines. They will voice a narration letting the audience know who they are, what music means to them and how it helps them to be creative. We will see him performing his lines, practicing and listening to the music – each time getting better. At the end of the film he will arrive on set, take out his earphones and perform the same scene in front of the camera.

Below are a collection of the kind of shots we want to achieve in the film: we want it to show the actor in their day to day life, using the bus or the train, walking around streets and visiting the locations of their film to get a feel for the atmosphere of it. We want to show them getting into the music and the script. We also want to show them being creative with it and how they work.
